Airtel offers unlimited voice calls, national roaming at Rs 199 plan

As of now, this plan is valid only for selected circles including Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Karnataka.

Bharti Airtel has announced a new tariff plan for its customers and to compete with other telecomoperators with the launch of Rs 199 plan. Under this pack, prepaid users will get 1GB of 4G/3G data and it is valid only for selected circles including Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Karnataka.

Further, the pack comes with a validity of 28 days, and it also offers unlimited voice calls (local+STD), unlimited incoming calls and unlimited SMS.Additionally, the company has also announced two new 3G/4G data packs. The Rs 157 recharge will offer 3GB of data with the validity of 27 days and other for Rs 49, which offers 1GB data and it is valid for one day.

According to reports, the Rs 199 recharge is not available on the company’s My Airtel app, but one can avail the offer via Airtel’s official website. However, the Rs 157 and Rs 49 packs are available on the My Airtel app.

Comparing to the Vodafone’s Rs 199 plan, both the companies are offering, unlimited calls, national roaming and 1GB 3G/4G data for 28 days. However, the only difference between the both is that Airtel is offering unlimited as well but, Vodafone will charge 25 paise per SMS.

Meanwhile, Vodafone has announced the launch of five different Super Plans for its prepaid users in India. The packs are priced at Rs 509, Rs 458, Rs 357 and Rs 79 and the plans are available across the company stores. Customers can also avail these packs from the MyVodafone application.
