Airtel launches ‘Smart Bytes’ data add-on plans for Broadband users

With Smart Bytes, users can keep Ising broadband even after they run out of their monthly data FUP limit. Starting with the cheapest of the lot, Airtel is offering the Rs 99 Smart Byte plan with 5GB of add-on data to broadband users. Airtel is also offering recharges of Rs 199, Rs 299, Rs 499, Rs 799 and Rs 1,499.

Airtel is offering ‘Smart Bytes’ data add-on plans as a solution for broadband users with limited monthly data. The new data add-on plans start from Rs 99 to up to Rs 1,499 and will offer internet at the same high data speed as the primary plan.

With Smart Bytes, users can keep Ising broadband even after they run out of their monthly data FUP limit. Starting with the cheapest of the lot, Airtel is offering the Rs 99 Smart Byte plan with 5GB of add-on data to broadband users, reports Telecomtalk. To access 15GB of add-on data, users will have to recharge for Rs 199 while a Rs 299 recharge will provide them with 25GB of additional data.

Users can also subscribe to 50GB and 90GB of add-on data for Rs 499 and Rs 799 Smart Bytes plans. Lastly, Airtel’s most expensive add-on plan comes for a price of Rs 1,499 and will give users access to a total of 200GB of additional data.

Airtel’s Smart Bytes add-ons come as a means to match ACT Fibernet’s FlexyBytes+ which also allows users to top-up users’ data.

Prior to this, Airtel extended its Thanks benefits to V-Fiber Broadband users, offering free Netflix and Amazon Prime access. The benefits include three months subscription gift for Netflix, one year of Amazon Prime membership with full entertainment and online shopping benefits, access to premium content from ZEE5 and Airtel TV.

Last month, the operator started offering free calling and data benefits to customers in flood-affected areas of Assam. It also announced the design and implementation of a future-ready State Wide Area Network (SWAN) for the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
