It is a well-known fact that the Reliance Jio free services have ignited a tariff war in the Indian telecom market. And in order to tackle Jio’s cheap data benefits and free voice calls, Airtel is gunning to battle it with its new postpaid offers. The company has added two new affordable plans to its myPlan Infinity postpaid offers Rs 549 and Rs 799. Earlier, the lowest myPlan Infinity offer starts from Rs 1,199, which is double of its current offering. The brand is also giving additional data benefits to 4G users in order to tempt existing 3G customers to update their SIM cards.
Through both the plans, users will get unlimited local and STD calling along with unlimited Roaming calls and 100 (local + STD) SMSs per day. The company is also giving monthly subscriptions to Wynk Movies and Wynk Music. Under the 599 plan, you will get 1GB of 3G data and if you have a 4G handset then you will get additional 3GB of 4G data. Same is the case with the Rs 799 plan where users will be getting 3GB of 3G data and additional 5GB of 4G data if they have a 4G handset.
Airtel has also updated its existing Rs 1,199 plan which now comes with unlimited outgoing calls while roaming along with 6GB of 3G data. 4G handsets users will get 10GB of 4G data. The plan also includes unlimited local and STD calls, unlimited incoming roaming calls, Wynk Music and Wynk Movies subscriptions, 100 local and STD messages a day. The company has three more myPlan Infinity plans starting at Rs 1,599, Rs 1,999 and Rs 2,999 that offers 15GB, 20GB, and 30GB data respectively.
