Bharti Airtel had to announced the launch of news Prepaid plan for its users in India. Dubbed as Rs 558 pack, the plan is meant to compete against Reliance Jio and Vodafone.
The Rs 558 plan from Airtel offers 3GB of 4G data per day and it comes with a validity of 82 days, reports TelecomTalk. This makes a grand total of 246GB data for the said period. Apart from this, user will get unlimited voice calls on local, STD and national Roaming without any FUP limit. The pack also offers 100 SMS per day.
The pack is in direct competition with Vodafone’s Rs 569 plan. Under this pack, Vodafone customers will 3GB of 4G data per day and the pack offers a validity of 84 days, thus making a grand total of 252 GB of data. The pack offers unlimited voice calls on local and STD network along with free national roaming. However, the pack comes with a daIly capping of cap of 250 minutes per day for 84 days. Apart from this, users will get 100 SMS per day.
Meanwhile, Airtel has introduced new quad-play platform, Airtel Home. The service is currently available as a beta version for Airtel home Broadband customers in Hyderabad. The company plans to roll out the solution across India over the next few weeks.
Through this service, Airtel customers will get a unified bill of different products like home broadband (and fixed line), postpaid mobile and digital TV under one roof. Users can access it as a single account with a unified interface on My Airtel app.
