Bharti Airtel has today announced the launch of its Airtel Thanks initiative in India. The company is offering a new experience programme to its users and it has announced the availability of Amazon Prime membership with prepaid packs.
To start with the new programme, customers will be divided into three tiers including Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each tier will come with its own set of benefits. Customers who are in Silver tier will get basic benefits like free Airtel TV and Wynk music subscription.
Customers who are promoted to Gold tier will get benefits like Netflix, free Amazon Prime subscription, Airtel TV Premium, Airtel Secure and Wynk Music. Lastly, the Platinum tier customers will get VIP service from Airtel. Customers will get premium content, e-books, device protection, and exclusive invites and priority access to events and sales. The company has also re-named My Airtel application to “Airtel Thanks” and it claims that new application uses strong data-science and segmentation algorithms to customize the user experiences, based on user interests and profiles.
Furthermore, Airtel has brought Amazon Prime membership to its prepaid customers with Airtel Thanks. The company has announced a Rs 299 plan that comes bundled with free Amazon Prime membership for 28 days. The pack comes with 2.5GB data per day along with unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day. In order to activate this offer, users need to go Airtel Thanks application.
