The real life Iron Man, Elong Musk is doing something which may be useful for the common man – a novel transportation concept that would allow people to travel in cars underground!
The Space X and Tesla founder has tweeted a picture of the tunnel which he said is currently of 500 feet. Separately Musk posted on Instagram: “It will work like a fast freeway, where electric skates carrying vehicles and people pods on the main artery travel at up to 150 mph, and the skates switch to side tunnels to exit and enter.”
Musk’s company, named as the Boring Company, is currently working on this. You can check out the concept video of this futuristic transport model here .
This isn’t however the first time that Musk is working on a futuristic travel mode. He is already working on something called Hyperloop – a network of nearly airless tubes that would speed special capsules over long distances at up to 750 mph (1,207 kph), using a thin cushion of air, magnetism and solar power.
