Extending its Liquid series of smartphones, Acer has unveiled a new handset – Liquid Glow, with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update running on it. Acer Liquid Glow will have 3.7-inch touchscreen display and flaunt a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash at the back.
Clad in soft casing and body design cues taken from Liquid series smartphones, the new Liquid Glow will come in three colors – Sakura Pink, Alpine White, Cat’s-Eye Black. Acer will show this handset at the Mobile World Congress 2012 starting February 26 in Barcelona, Spain.
This smartphone will feature 3.7-inch touchscreen display with WVGA (480×800) pixel resolution, hopefully. Acer is trying to make the phone appear more fashionable with the soft casings color matching the color of the user interface.
The Liquid Glow smartphone will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system with a light layer of Acer’s own custom user interface on top of it. This smartphone will have a noble 5 megapixel camera at the back to click images with LED flash in low lights and will also feature touch focus function.
No details about the Processor user and memory packed were revealed by the company. Acer Liquid Glow will have a Near Field Communication chip that will let the user exchange data in terms of files, music, videos, contacts and links.
Acer plans to make the smartphone available by early Summer of 2012 so one can expect it to arrive by second quarter (April-June) of this year.
