Expanding its ultra-portable Spin series of notebooks, Acer has today launched a new convertible laptop – Acer Spin 3, in India for Rs 42,999. The device is already available at various retail stores in the country and banks on long battery life, performance and the famous 360-degree hinge design.
Starting with the design, the new Spin 3 follows the trend from other Spin notebooks and offer a top notch premium design and ability to tilt the display 360 degrees with that elegant looking hinge mechanism.

In terms of display, the new Spin 3 comes with a 15.6-inch HD display which is backed by Acer’s Colour Intelligence display technology bumping up the overall viewing experience. To explain, Acer Color Intelligence software dynamically adjusts gamma and saturation in real-time, optimising screen colour and brightness with less CPU loading while BlueLightShield™ helps keep your eyes protected from harmful screen emissions. Along with the screen, a backlit well-designed keyboard also makes up for a comfortable typing experience.
Jumping into the internals, the Spin 3 is powered by 6th generation Intel Core processors coupled with 4GB DDR4 RAM and 500GB of HDD. In terms of battery, Acer claims that this notebook is capable of offering a battery backup of 9 hours which allow their users to enjoy their favourite movies or music for extended hours. It offers Wi-Fi 802.11ac along with Dual USB 3.1 Type-C ports for connectivity. The USB Type-C ports will enable faster data transfers between the devices, connect to an external monitor and charge the notebook. Moreover, a wide glass touchpad makes up for easy navigation on this Windows 10 running laptop. For the audio, the Acer Spin 3 comes equipped with Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony™ which delivers clear and bold virtual surround sound. The laptop also offers an HD webcam upfront with HDR image support.
