aiwan-based brand, Acer has unveiled two new smartphones under its Liquid series at the ongoing IFA 2016, in Berlin. The new handsets are named as Acer Liquid Z6 and Z6 Plus. The Acer Liquid Z6 is priced at 119 euro and it will be available from November on wards, whereas the Acer Z6 Plus will cost 250 euros and will hit the stores in the month of December.
The Acer Liquid Z6 comes with a 5-inch HD (720p) display and a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor, which is clubbed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It has a micro SD card slot and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The phone has a 2,000 mAh battery.
On the camera front, Liquid Z6 sports an 8-megapixel primary camera, and a 2-megapixel secondary camera for selfies and video chats. The smartphone supports 4G network and comes will all basic connectivity functions like GPS, WiFi, a microUSB port and Bluetooth.
On the other hand, Acer Liquid Z6 Plus comes with bigger 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D glass display with Resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor, which is paired with decent 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, with option to expand further via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a massive 4,080mAh battery.
The Liquid Z6 Plus has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. This 4G smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner and comes will all basic connectivity functions like GPS, WiFi, a Micro USB port and Bluetooth.
