Taiwan based Acer has launched a new Android smartphone, called the Liquid Z3. The Acer Liquid Z3 is based on a 1.7 GHz dual core processor.
The device is expected to start selling form this month itself starting with countries including Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, France, Spain, the UK, Italy, Germany and Russia. But there is no information as of now about its availability in India.
The Acer Liquid Z3 has a 3.5 inch screen with 320×480 pixel Resolution and multi point capacitive touch input system. The Liquid Z3 is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual core processor, which is probably is a Qualcomm processor as Acer has a long standing partnership with the Chipset maker. The processor is assisted by 512 MB RAM and Android Jelly Bean 4.2 operating system.
The Acer Liquid Z3 has 4 GB internal storage along with support for a micro SD card of up to 32 GB. The smartphone also comes with dual SIM (GSM+GSM) connectivity along with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, with HSPA+ support for primary SIM.
The Acer Liquid Z3 features a 3 Megapixel primary camera but misses out on a secondary front camera. The battery pack for the device has been rated at 1500 mAh which is likely to power the device ranging between 1-2 days.
