A few days ago, leaks started popping up about a Coca-Cola smartphone and the brand’s collaboration with a smartphone OEM. However, the name of the mobile phone manufacturer wasn’t revealed at the time. Today, Realme itself started teasing that it is soon bringing a new smartphone to the country. While the teasers do not mention Coca-Cola, the contents inside the teaser actually confirm a soft-drink branded device is coming.
Realme has created a microsite with teasers mentioning that the brand “is set to get really refreshing,” which points to Coco Cola drinks. The second teaser, which says,” Get ready to say cheers for real,” also has a fizzy drink next to it with Realme’s signature cat up top. Both the teasers indicate that Realme is set to collaborate with Coca-Cola for a weird-looking device whose render has already been leaked.
Furthermore, do not expect this to be a completely new offering, as it is purportedly just a rebranded Realme 10 4G device.
The design renders shared by the tipster reveal the back panel of the upcoming Cola Phone. It has the exact same camera placement at the back, with the back panel being red in colour and a huge Coca-Cola branding over it. Apart from this, the device should have the same specs as the Realme 10.
The Realme 10 4G launched in India on January 9 for a base price of Rs 13,999. It has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED full HD+ display with 1080 × 2400 pixel resolution, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1000 nits peak brightness and a 90Hz refresh rate. There’s the Helio G99 processor, 50MP + 2MP rear camera setup, 5000mAh battery and 33W Fast charging support.
