Spicing up ones Android phone is always an enticing proposition and the proposed 3D Contact App wants to do the same. It replaces the default contact application provided by the Android phone itself.
The applications’ main features are animated 3D contact cubes, facility to create and edit contacts, search and customisable colours. Users just need to swipe a contact on the screen to call them. An attractive feature is that one can store multiple phone numbers and an email address against one contact.
For the time being the beta version of the app is available but it does provide a fresh look to the usual user interface of your Android phone. The contact cubes are sorted alphabetically and the speed of the scroll can be adjusted by the users. The developers say that users looking for the app have to go to the Android market and search for “3D Contact”, but in practice this may be difficult than that.
