360 Q5, Q5 Plus smartphones with 13MP dual rear camera unveiled

Both the smartphones said to come with paramilitary security chip inside and with latest 360 OS 2.0 secure system.

As reported earlier, 360, formerly known as Qiku, has launched 360 Q5 and Q5 Plus smartphones. The 360 Q5 standard model is priced at 1999 Yuan (approximately Rs 20,170), while the special edition (anti-bacterial metal body) costs 2199 Yuan (approximately Rs 22,184). The 360 Q5 Plus comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants at 2599 Yuan (approximately Rs 26,237) and 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs 28,242) respectively. Currently, the company is allowing users to register for the phones which will be made available from August 30.

360 Q5 specs

The 360 Q5 has a full metal unibody and a 5.5-inch Full 2.5D glass display. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM and 128 storage. This smartphone comes packed with 3200 mAh non-removable battery with quick charge 3.0 support. The smartphone run on 6.0.1 Marshmallow wrapped under latest 360 OS 2.0 secure system.
360 Q5, Q5 Plus
On the camera front, the 360 Q5 has a 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup with dual tone LED flash. One is an RGB sensor, while the other one is a sensor. The camera can capture 3D videos as well. In its front lies another 13-megapixel shooter with flash for selfies and video calling.

The Q5 comes with fingerprint scanner on the back and a port at the bottom, along with speaker grills. Besides, the smartphone comes with all basic connectivity functions like Dual SIM, GPS, WiFi, etc. The handset measures 149.5 x 74 x 8.5 mm and weighs 164 grams.

360 Q5 Plus specs

The 360 Q5 Plus also comes with a metal unibody but a bigger 6-inch Super with full HD resolution. It has much better 2.15 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, which is clubbed with 128 GB of internal storage.. The Q5 Plus gets its strength from a 3700 mAh non-removable battery. The phone promises faster charging with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It measures 156.5 x 80 x 8.3 mm and weighs 175 grams.

Rest of the specifications of Q5 Plus smartphone are the same as of 360 Q5, which include 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup with dual tone LED flash, 13-megapixel shooter with flash, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port.

Both the smartphones promise next-generation professional security with a paramilitary unbreakable security chip inside and with latest 360 OS 2.0 secure system.
