Celebrating the milestone of selling 20 lakh units of TVS Sport, the brand has announced the launch of its Silver Alloy Edition in India at a price tag of Rs 38,961 (ex-showroom). The new bike will be available in two colour variants – Black Silver and Volcano Red.
As far as specifications are concerned, the TVS sport is powered by the same 99.7cc displacement engine as the standard variant. The machine chunks the maximum power of 7.4 hp at 7500 rpm and 7.5 Nm at 7500 rpm of peak torque. The bike is mated to a 4-speed transmission and claimed to deliver the mileage of 95kmpl.
TVS Sport comes with the facility of Kick as well as self-start. Other than this the motorcycle weights 108.5 Kg with the fuel tank capacity of 10-litre with 2-litre of reserve capacity. It rides on the telescopic hydraulic suspensions at the front and 5 stage adjustable at the rear.
In terms of dimensions, the bike measures 1950 mm in length, 705 mm in width, 1080 mm in height with the wheelbase of 1236 mm. Further, the TVS runs on the 17-inch tyre size and for safety, it gets a leg guard with 130 mm drum breaks upfront and 110 mm at the rear.
Meanwhile, competing against the Bajaj CT100 (Rs 31,802, ex-showroom) and Hero HF Dawn (Rs 38,410, ex-showroom), the TVS Sport’s standard black alloy variant is available in eight different trim colour – Volcano Red, Black Silver, Indigo Streak, Team Blue, Mercury Grey, Blaze Red, Dazzling White and Electric Green.
