The new 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe is reportedly launching in India on April 11. The RS5, which will take on the likes of BMW M4, is expected to have a price tag of over Rs 1 crore.
This is the fourth car of Audi’s RS series that includes RS 6 Avant, RS 7 Sportback and RS 7 Sportback Performance.
The Audi RS 5 Coupe has a smaller V6 engine than its peers which boast the V8 engine. The 2.9 liter produces 444bhp and 600Nm of torque and is mated with an eight speed transmission.
The Coupe also offers Audi’s all-drive system with 40:60 (front to rear) power distribution ratio. It can travel from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. It has top speed of 155 mph.
Besides, it has RS Sports seats, single-frame front grille, wider wheel arches with standard 19-inch wheels with the option of the larger 20-inch wheels, Dynamic Ride Control (DRC), Ceramic Brakes, Dynamic Steering with RS-specific tuning and the Audi Drive Select, Audi’s virtual cockpit and G-Force indicators.
