Many would like to take a screenshot (freeze frame) while browsing the web, reading a book or watching a video on their PC, mobile or tablet. Very few people, though, actually know that the screenshot feature can be more useful if used wisely.
Usually, tablets and mobile phones have apps for taking screenshots on the device. On the BlackBerry PlayBook, however, RIM has assigned two buttons for capturing screenshots.

For BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, the two volume keys are the buttons for capturing a screenshot. Here’s a quick way to take a screenshot on the tablet:
Step 1:
Hold the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet in way that all four buttons on the top are easily accessible.

Step 2:
Press the “-” and “+” volume buttons together and you will hear a “click” image capturing sound.

Step 3:
Go to the Pictures App and then tap on Camera Pictures to see the captured screenshot.
At this moment, there is no option to attach the image to an email or share it over social networks. We hope to see those features in the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet OS 2.0 update due to arrive later this month.
