Recording videos using a mobile phone and then sharing them has always been a costly affair. A new breed of video sharing services is now trying to get many mobile users to submit videos online. Vine and Instagram are two popular social network driven video sharing services.
Vine is part of Twitter and allows recording, mixing and sharing videos through the phone. But how does one actually go about doing that? Here’s a quick walkthrough.
Step one
Download the Vine App from Google Play Store; install it; and register using Twitter details or email.
Step two
Open the app and tap on the camera button on the top right corner. Wait for the recording interface to load. Once the interface loads, you can choose the frames and ghosting effect just in case you want to make a funky video.
Step three
Frame your subject, then press and hold the screen to record the video. The green coloured progress bar will show the amount of footage recorded. You can lift your finger to stop recording and then press the x icon to remove the current recording and start over.
Step four
Add a caption to the video. Choose the relevant channel where you wish to publish your video. Also, you can select the video to be shared on Twitter. When done, tap on the check mark icon to publish the video.
