Having a BlackBerry device means a lot of convenience for owners as they can access their emails on the go, carry out their business and much more from a small little device. But losing one such device can really hurt you and your work. So how can you prevent that? Well, it’s easy-you can create a simple lock screen message that anyone and everyone can see so that they know where to return the device if they found it. Most of the time, devices are not stolen but are misplaced and in such events they can be successfully recovered if there is ample information about the device owners’ contact details, which of course does not require the device to be unlocked if it is locked or Password protected.
So here’s how you can add a custom lock screen password and protect your phone.
Note: for this feature to work the password must be present and enabled on the device.

Once done the message should come up on the lock screen every time you lock your device. It will be displayed to anyone who looks at the screen.
