The highly anticipated sequel to the best-selling city-building game, Cities: Skylines, is finally here for PC. Cities: Skylines II is now available on Windows with PC Game Pass. The game lets you raise a city from the ground up and transform it into a thriving metropolis with the one of most realistic city builders ever.
Cities: Skylines II is currently available only for PC via Game Pass and not for consoles. The release date for the console version of the title was delayed from October 24 to an unspecified one in Spring of 2024. This affected both the Xbox and PlayStation versions of the title. The developers postponed the game to achieve the high standards they had set for the console versions.
Cities: Skylines II expands upon many of the simulation factors that made the first game a hit, such as simulated city and population sizes, and improved traffic AI and management schemes. You can also push your creativity and problem-solving to build on a massive scale. Additionally, it offers deep simulation and a living economy so you can experience the highest standards of a city builder.

The game also features new elements such as weather, climate, seasons, citizen simulation, lifepath, sound, music, cinematic camera, photo mode, and more. The game packs a new progression system which gives the players an opportunity to mold the city to their liking, unlocking the features that are important to you and enhance your city the most.
With the new system you also now have the option can keep your city as a small, well-crafted village or small town and still progress through the milestones taking advantage of the passive XP you gain from things such as citizen Happiness.
