The newest smartphone brand iQOO came in with a lot of expectations. From those who had heard of it, to those claiming to have an inside track on the firm’s major model for India, the hype was high, to say the least. With the launch duly done, has the brand delivered? Let’s check.

iQOO 3 4G variant comes with a price tag of Rs 36,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option is priced at Rs 39,999. The iQOO 3 5G variant is priced at Rs 44,999. The company is offering some launch offers including Rs 3,000 cashback on ICICI Bank credit and debit cards, Rs 12,000 benefits for Reliance Jio customers and no-cost EMI options. One can purchase the device from Flipkart and iQOO estore from 4th March.
Display:
The iQOO 3’s 6.44-inch display is a Super AMOLED Screen that provides an immersive viewing with Polar View Display. It has 2400 x 1080 Resolution along with 409ppi Pixel density. Apart from that, it has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection in the rear and Schott Xensation on the front which can survive drops from twice the height of conventional alumino-silicate protection.
The impressive screen is a friend of the sun, thanks to the full-screen Brightness under intense light than can go all the way to 1200 nits, from a base of 800 nits. It’s HDR 10+ Standard Certification testifies to the high level of detailing available when watching video content on the phone.
Performance:
It is powered by the top of the line Snapdragon 865 Processor which is a 7nm Chipset equipped with the latest A77 architecture. As compared with its predecessor, the Snapdragon 855, the performance of the Snapdragon 865 is 25% higher at 30 % lower energy consumption. The new iQOO Monster UI is based on Android 10 and comes with brand new icons, smooth transition animations and clutter-free interface. It also gives the user the freedom to choose between drawer and tile interface for displaying apps.
The UI doesn’t miss on the dark colour mode but with a difference. Instead of a simple change of colour, the depth of the UI elements has been adapted for dark colours to offer you a more pleasant picture.
