With the company being founded in 2011 and entering India in 2016 with the Le 1s and Le Max smartphones, LeEco was one of the best companies that could compete with Xiaomi. However, soon after its entrance in India, it had spent cash too quickly as it expanded into new businesses ranging from smartphones to driverless cars, due to which the company exited the Indian market within a year of entry. Its last devices in India were the Le 2 and the LeMax 2.
