The Google Pixel is a line of consumer electronic devices developed by Google that run either the Android operating system or the Chrome OS. The Pixel line includes laptops, tablets, smartphones, and several accessories.
The first-generation Pixel, released on October 4, 2016, was developed in partnership with HTC. It was succeeded by the second-generation Pixel 2, released on October 4, 2017. The third-generation Pixel 3 was released on October 9, 2018.
Google had previously used the Nexus brand for its Android devices but announced in August 2016 that it would be transitioning to the Pixel brand name starting with its 2016 line of devices.
The Pixel 7 Pro is Google’s flagship of the year, featuring the second-gen Tensor SoC, a 120Hz LTPO display, a telephoto sensor, and a bigger battery.
