Xiaomi has today announced Rs 1,500 price cut on its latest Redmi 6 Pro smartphone in India. The price cut is applicable on both 3GB and 4GB variants of the phone. Earlier the company also slashed the price on its other smartphones like Mi A2 , Redmi Note 5 Pro, and Redmi Y2.
After the price cut, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage is now available for Rs 9,999. The 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage is now available for Rs 11,999. The smartphone at the discounted price is now available for purchase on Mi.com, Amazon.in and offline stores including Mi Home.
The Redmi 6 Pro was launched in September last year at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999 for 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage respectively after which they received a price hike. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro started at Rs 11,499 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant was priced at Rs 13,499.
The price cut has been announced by Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain on his twitter handle. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has a 5.84-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) notched display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with an Adreno 506 GPU. For storage, it has 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage with expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) It has a dual rear camera with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor for selfies. The smartphone 4,000mAh battery and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
