Xiaomi’s upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 smartphone is expected to launch sometime in second half of 2017. Recently, a Chinese website – GearBest listed the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 with full specifications on its website. And now if we go by the latest round of leak which has surfaced online, the Mi Mix 2 will feature a better new generation technology for the ear piece sound output.
The information comes straight from a Chines analyst, Sun Changxu who revealed this on WeChat recently. For this, the company will collaborate with AAC technologies and the technology will be known as AAC actuator and it will be used for the earpiece on the Mi Mix 2. This technology will achieve screen sound when the Frequency is low to have a better experience. It is also alleged to work better with the 3GPP standard.
As per earlier leaked spec, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will feature a 6.4-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixel) IPS display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 825 octa-core 2.45GHz Processor with Adreno 540 GPU. It will come in three variants – 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage. It doesn’t have any expandable storage.
The Mi Mix 2 will have two SIM card slots with Dual Standby and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with MiUI 9 on top of it. It will be backed up by a 4,500 mAh battery. The Mi Mix 2 is said to have a 19-megapixel rear camera with LED flash light while for selfies it will offer a 13-megapixel front camera. The handset will also feature a USB Type-C port and Fingerprint sensor which is placed at the back of the device. For connectivity the smartphone offers 4G, WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS / GLONASS and micro USB. It will come with Ambient Light Sensor, Gravity Sensor and Proximity Sensor.
