Vivo Jio Cricket Mania can land you with 168GB of free 4G data: Here is how

Reliance Jio is out with yet another promotional offer but this time only for Vivo users. and in typiclal Jio style, the offer is as simple as it can get. The telecom operator has now announced its ‘Vivo Jio Cricket Mania’ offer for cricket lovers especially those following IPL (Indian Premiere League) very closely. Under Vivo Jio Cricket Mania offer Jio Subscribers using their SIM on a Vivo smartphone can get up to 168GB of 4G data for free.

To take part in Vivo Jio Cricket Mania, one needs to own a Vivo smartphone and also be subscribed to Reliance Jio. If you qualify this condition, you need to send an SMS from your Jio number mentioning your favourite team by 10th May 2017. The SMS should be – VJ Team Name (favourite) and send it to 59009. The Team Name should be in shortcodes instead of the full name. For example, SH for Sunrisers Hyderabad, KKR for Kolkata Knight Riders etc. Note that, the first successful registration for selecting the favourite team will be considered final.

Once done, Reliance Jio will add free 4G data every time your team wins, draws or lose a match “because winning or losing is a part of the game”, claims Jio. For every match your favourite team wins, Jio will add 3GB of 4G data, for a draw you get 2GB of 4G data and for a loss, you get 1GB of data.

Not only this, if your favourite team qualifies for Qualifiers than your data benefit will be doubled. Whereas, if your team manages to enter the Finals, your data benefit will be tripled and if your favourite team wins the tournament (IPL 2017), you will get four times the data benefits.

Reliance Jio claims that if played right, you can earn up to 168G of 4G data by the end of the tournament given your team wins every match. Further, Reliance Jio will add your earned 4G data over the next 10 recharges (starting June 1st) as data boosters, that will work on top of your existing packs’ validity. Considering the fact that even if your team loses, you stand to get enough data to burn on more than just a few IPL matches, the offer seems a no-brainer for a Vivo Phone user.
