Samsung Galaxy S10+, S10, S10e, Galaxy Buds launched in India

The company has introduced the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e and Galaxy Buds for the Indian market.

Samsung has officially announced the launch of its new flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S10 series, in India. The company has introduced the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e for the Indian market. The smartphones will be available for purchase from March 08, 2019. Additionally, Samsung has also launched the Galaxy Buds in India for an asking price of Rs 9,990. All products will be available from Amazon, Flipkart, Tata CliQ, Samsung Shop, PayTM, and select retail stores.

The company has announced that users will get up to Rs 6000 cashback on HDFC Bank credit and debit cards. Furthermore, the devices will up for Exchange programme and users can avail up to Rs 15,000 exchange value on their old smartphone.

Samsung has already revealed the price of the Galaxy S10 series. The Galaxy S10e comes with a price tag of Rs 55,900 for the 6GB of and 128GB of internal storage. The phone will be available in Prism Black and Prism White colour options.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will be available in Prism Black, Prism White and Prism Blue colour options. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 66,900 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option and Rs 84,900 for the 8GB RAM + 512GB storage option.

Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ comes with a price tag of Rs 73,900 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, Rs 91,900 for 8GB RAM + 512GB storage option and Rs 1,17,900 for the 1TB storage and 12GB RAM option. The smartphone will be available in Ceramic Black, while the top variant is available in Ceramic White.

The new series from Samsung comes with a new punch-hole design. The Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10e come with a single punch hole for the camera, while the Galaxy S10+ features two front-facing cameras that reside under the display.

Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ feature 6.1-inch and 6.4-inch QHD+ Curved respectively with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The Galaxy S10e features a 5.8-inch Full flat AMOLED display. All the models are powered by Samsung’s latest octa-core Exynos 9820 processor.

On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ are equipped with a triple camera setup which comes with a combination of a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 lens, a 12-megapixel sensor with f/1.5/ f/2.4 auto-focus lens, and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor f/2.2 fixed-focus lens. The Samsung Galaxy S10e features a dual-camera setup with a combination of a 12-megapixel variable lens with f/1.5-f/2.4 aperture, and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens f/2.2 fixed-focus lens.

For selfies, the Samsung Galaxy S10e and Galaxy S10 are equipped with a 10-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture. The Galaxy S10+ comes with dual front-facing cameras with an 8-megapixel RGB sensor and 10-megapixel lens.

All the smartphones run on 9.0 Pie, which is based on OneUI. The Galaxy S10e is equipped with a 3,100mAh battery, Galaxy S10 with 3,400mAh battery and Galaxy S10+ with 4,100mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy S10 series include VoLTE (LTE Cat. 20), Wi-Fi 802.11ax, v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm jack, and a USB port.

Samsung has also introduced the Galaxy Buds as the successor to the Gear IconX (2018) for an asking price of Rs 9,990. The device is a pair of truly wireless earbuds that come with adaptive dual microphone technology that implementsone inner microphone and one outer microphone in each earbud.This helps to deliver the voice clearly in both loud and quiet environments and are tuned withAKG.

The Galaxy Buds offer5.8pi dynamic drivers withEnhance Ambient Sound that allows users to hear to their surroundings clearly even while the buds are in the ears. The earbuds come integrated with Bixby and one can use the to make calls, send text messages or check the battery life of the earbuds.

Galaxy Buds gives up to six hours of Bluetooth streaming, and up to five hours of calls. With the compact case, one can charge the buds for up to seven hours,4 and it also gives 1.7 hours of battery life on a 15-minute quick charge. The earbuds feature a 58mAh battery, while the charging case has 252mAh battery. The earbuds are available inBlack, White and Yellow colours.
