The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) which received Bluetooth certification last month with version 4.1 from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) has now been spotted on GFXBench benchmarking website the model number SM-J730. The smartphone also received certification from Indonesian certification agency P3DN. It is also to be noted that Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) with model number SM-J727VL was also spotted on the same benchmarking website in February. Now it has ben spotted with a different model number and an even different set of specifications.
The new version SM-J730 is likely to be another version of the Galaxy J7 2017. The earlier spotted variant SM-J727VL is expected to be the international variant of Galaxy J7 2017. As per the latest listing on GFXBench, Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) has a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 5 finger gesture support. It is powered by Samsung Exynos 7870 1.5 GHz octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage out of which 11GB will be reserved for the users. Besides, it has Mali T830 GPU and Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) has a 12-megapixel Autofocus camera and a LED flash on its rear panel while a 12-megapixel camera in its front as well. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has an accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor and Proximity Sensor as well.
As per earlier multiple reports, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) will feature 5.5 inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 425 Soc/Samsung Exynos 7870 Chipset coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM. The device will be boosted by an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It is also expected to come with 3000 mAh battery and will run on Android Nougat operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to be announced globally soon, but Samsung is likely to limit the announcement to select countries and carriers, bearing different names. As per earlier reports, the Galaxy J7 (2017) smartphone is going to be released by US-based carrier Verizon as the Galaxy J7 V, Sprint as the Galaxy J7 Perx and by Tracfone as the J7 Sky Pro. Other than these two, AT&T and U.S. Cellular carriers are also expected to release the smartphone. The US variant will be running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core chipset while the international version will be powered by Samsung’s in-house developed octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset.
