Seems like Samsung is getting ready for the launch of its Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) smartphone soon in the United States. As per the reports, the device has got the all necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US.
The FCC document, however, does not reveal anything but it includes the ID of the device which is SM-J530FM/DS which is the model number of the Galaxy J5 (2017).
Recently a couple of live images of the smartphone surfaced online which revealed the handset’s internal design. The first image showed the front side of the phone without the display panel revealing the front camera on the top of the device with LED flash while the bottom part of the smartphone showed a fingerprint scanner. The second image showed the rear panel of the smartphone showing the camera with a single LED flash and the Samsung logo. The left side seemed to have volume controllers while the power button seems to be placed on the right.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) has already been previously spotted on GFXBench and GeekBench Benchmarking websites. The Galaxy J5 (2017) has also received Bluetooth certification with v4.1 from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG)
As per previous multiple listings, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) will come with a 4.8-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and 5 finger gesture support. It is expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7870 1.5 GHz octa-core processor and 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage out of which 11GB will be reserved for the users. Besides, it has ARM Mali-T830 GPU and Android 7.0 Samsung Edition operating system. Galaxy J5 (2017) has a 13-megapixel Autofocus camera and a LED flash on its rear panel while a 13-megapixel camera in its front as well. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has an accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor and Proximity Sensor as well.
