Oppo Reno 2, Reno 2Z and Reno 2F launched in India

The company has introduced Reno 2, Reno 2Z and Reno 2F smartphones in the country.

Oppo has today announced the launch of new Reno 2 series in India. The company has introduced Reno 2, Reno 2Z and Reno 2F smartphones in the country. The Reno 2 comes with a price tag of Rs 36,990, Reno 2Z for Rs 29,990. The company has not revealed the price of Reno 2F smartphone.

The Oppo Reno 2 will be available for sale starting from September 20, while the Oppo Reno 2Z will be available for purchase from September 06, 2019. The Oppo Reno 2F will be available in November.

Starting with the Oppo Reno 2, the smartphone comes loaded with a new glass finish along with Shark Fin Rising camera. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.55-inch Dynamic with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected with 6 protection, while the back panel features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is available in Ocean Blue and Luminous Black colour options.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G along with 8GB of and 256GB of internal storage. On the camera front, the phone is loaded with quad-camera setup, which comes with a combination of 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, OIS, EIS along with a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, an 8-megapixel lens and a 2-megapixel mono sensor. The phone is loaded with 5X hybrid zoom feature and 20x digital zoom.

Coming to the Reno 2Z and Reno 2F, both the smartphones feature pop-up selfie mechanism. Both of them are loaded with 6.53-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on front and back panel. The Reno 2Z is powered by a MediaTek Helio P90 chipset, while the Reno 2F is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P70 processor.

The Oppo Reno 2Z is equipped with a quad-camera setup with a combination of 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel mono lens and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. The Oppo Reno 2F is loaded with a similar camera configuration, though the 48-megapixel used in Reno 2F is a Samsung GM1 sensor. All three smartphones’ rear camera is completely hidden under the back cover.

All the phones are equipped with a 4000mAh battery and all of them support VOOC flash charge 3.0 support. On the connectivity front, all the phones are loaded GPS, GLONASS, WiFi, Bluetooth, dual-SIM, VoLTE and more. The Oppo Reno 2 measures 160 x 74.3 x 9.5mm, the Reno 2Z measures 161.8 x 74.3 x 9.5mm and Reno 2F measures 161.8 x 75.8 x 8.67mm.
