The Nubia Z17 has already been subjected to various leaks and rumours from quite a few days. Now if a recent leak is to be believed, the Nubia Z17 will be coming with an IP67 water and dustproof build.
A short 15 seconds video of the upcoming Nubia Z17 has been uploaded to the Weibo social network which shows that the device will have IP67 certification. In the video, we can see the Nubia Z17 smartphone soaking inside the water. After a few seconds, a hand moves the phone to show that there are no air bubbles that are coming out of the device. In fact, this would be first Nubia Z-series smartphone that will have IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. There is no Nubia device that comes with IP67 certification till now.
The Nubia Z17 has already been spotted on TENNA certification website and AnTuTu website with model number NX563J. As per the TENAA listing, Nubia Z17 features a 5.5-inch display that has full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.9 GHz octa-core processor which is coupled with 4GB RAM. It offers 64GB of internal storage, 128 GB expandable storage via a micro SD card, dual camera setup of a 23-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the device.
The dual SIM phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and is fueled by 3100 mAh battery. Connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G-LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a Micro USB port. The dimensions of the phone are 152.66 x 72.44 x 7.95 mm and it weighs 170 g. The device is listed in Gold and Silver colour option. The phone has Gravity sensor, distance sensor, light sensor as per the listing.
Meanwhile, the AnTuTu listing revealed slightly different specifications. The AnTuTu spotting claimed that the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor which is not clocked at 1.9 GHz as revealed by the TENNA listing. Further, the smartphone is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, revealed the AnTuTu listing. Apart from this, the AnTuTu listing showed a 12-megapixel camera at the back which is not in line with the TENNA listing showing a 23-megapixel dual camera setup at the back.
