Huawei has today launched Huawei P30 Pro and P30 Lite in India. The P30 Pro comes with 8GB and 128GB storage which will cost you Rs 71,990. Huawei P30 Lite is priced at Rs 19,990 for 4GB RAM and 128GB storage and Rs 22,990 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant.
P30 Pro will be available for purchase exclusively on Amazon India and Croma offline stores starting April 25. Buyers can get the Huawei Watch GT, worth Rs 15,990, by paying an additional Rs 2,000. It comes inBreathing Crystal and Aurora colour variants. P30 Lite will be available exclusively from Amazon first and will be available from Croma starting from May and it comes inMidnight Black, Pearl White and Peacock Blue colours. With both the phones, Jio customers will get benefits worth Rs 2,200 on Rs 198 and Rs 299recharges.
Huawei P30 Pro
The Huawei P30 Pro sports a 6.47-inch OLED FullView Display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone has a waterdrop-shaped display notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The P30 Pro doesn’t have an earpiece, instead, it uses Acoustic Display Technology which emits sounds through the display using electromagnetic sound levitation.
The USP of the P30 Pro is its camera setup. In terms of optics, the smartphone features a Leica Quad Camera setup which combines a 40-megapixel primary camera with 1/1.7-inch Huawei SuperSpectrum Sensor and f/1.6 (27mm) lens, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle secondary camera with an f/2.2 (16mm) lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/3.4 (125mm) lens, and a Time-of-Flight (TOF) camera. For the front, it features a 32-megapixel SuperSelfie camera on the front for selfies and video calling.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by octa core HiSilicon Kirin 980 which comprises of dual Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.6GHz, two Cortex-A76 clocked at 1.92GHz and four Cortex-A55 at 1.8GHz. The P30 Pro offers a 4,200mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge technology as well as 15W wireless charging. It runs EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie. It is water and dust resistant with IP68 certification.
Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. The phone measures 158 x 73.4 x 8.41mm and the weight is 192 grams.
Huawei P30 Lite
The smartphone features a 6.15 inch (2312 x 1080 pixels) with Full HD+ resolution and tall 19.5:9 ratio. It is powered by 2.2GHz octa core processor with Mali-G51 GPU. The phone has 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage with expandable memory up to 512GB with microSD. Huawei P30 Lite has a 3,340 mAh battery with 18W fast-charging and it runs on Android 9 Pie and EMUI 9.0.1.
For the camera, Huawei P30 Lite features a triple rear camera with a combination of 24-megapixel, 8-megapixel Wide-Angle lens and 2-megapixel depth sensor. For the front, the phone features a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video-calling.
Connectivity features of the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB-C port, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone measures 152.9 x 72.7 x 7.4 mm and the weight is 159 grams.
