Huawei’s subsidiary brand, Honor today announced the launch of Honor Bee2 in India at Rs 7,499. The Honor Bee2 is the successor of Honor Bee smartphone which was launched in India way back in 2015. It will be available for purchase from 19th April 2017 offline through Huawei’s 20,000 plus partner stores across India and will come with 15-month service warranty. The Honor Bee2 will be available in in three colors – gold, white and black.
Huawei Honor Bee2 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480) IPS display. It is powered by 1 GHz quad-core (MediaTek MT6735M chipset) processor. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with EMUI 3.1 UI on top of it. There is a 2100 mAh Li-Poly battery.
The Huawei Honor Bee2 also has 1GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable to 32GB via a micro SD card. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. Further, the smartphone offers Dual Sim, 4G VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, a microUSB port and Accelerometer.
The smartphone also provides user’s access to a Smart-key that has strategically been placed on the Left bezel of the device. Through a simple configuration, the Smart-key can open the flashlight and other applications, making life smarter and easier than ever before. The Honor Bee2 also sports a feature named ‘Rainbow Light’, which lights up when one gets a call, communicating alerts and notification in vibrant colour around the rear camera.

To recollect, the Honor Bee smartphone was launched in India way back in 2015 at Rs 4,999. It features 4.5-inch FWVGA screen and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage and 1750 mAh battery. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED Flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also supports dual SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, a microUSB port and one can use it to access only 3G or 2G network. The VOLTE update ensures the phone catches up with the new market reality, post Jio launch.
