HTC 11 with 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 SoC pays a visit on Geekbench

The benchmarking site reveals the single-core and multi-core test of the upcoming phone.

As we are heading towards the launch of HTC 11 or HTC U, rumours and speculation about the upcoming device is reaching all time high. We already know that the smartphone will be launching on May 16 and recently, the device has been spotted on Geekbench revealing some key specifications.

The site reveals the single-core and multicore test of the upcoming phone. TheHTC 11 managed to get a score of 1912 during the single-core test and 6137 for the multi-core test. This is eerily similar to what we have seen in Samsung Galaxy, which packs a similar processor.

As for the specification is concerned, the listing reveals that the device would run on 7.1.1 and will be powered by the latest octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 clocked at 1.9Ghz and 4GB of RAM.


The company has recently revealed through a video teaser that it will come loaded with a new Sense feature that will be incorporated at the side edges of the screen and will allow users to interact by ‘squeezing’ the edge of the phone frame.

The device is reported to come in two variants which include a 4GB of and 64GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the display department, the phone will sport a 5.5-inch WQHD display coupled with 3D Gorilla Glass 5 protection.


On the camera front, the smartphone is reported to sport 12-megapixel rear camera and 16-megapixel front shooter. HTC U will run on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat with company’s own Sense 9 UI running on top of it and it will be juiced up by a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. Further, it will support connectivity options including, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4.2 and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button.
