Lenovo has rolled out the latest Android Nougat 7.0 update for its Lenovo P2 smartphone in India. The smartphone was launched earlier this year in India with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The update comes with the build number P2a42_S232_170320_ROW. The smartphone is exclusively available on Flipkart in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey colours.
The Lenovo P2 smartphone comes in two variants, 3GB RAM which is priced at Rs 16,999 and 4GB RAM which costs you Rs 17,999.
The company advises you to update when the battery in your phone is at least 50% charged and you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. Users must have 2GB of free space to download and install the update as the update weighs 1975MB. Since the update is being rolled out over-the-air, it may take some time before it comes to your device. One can also manually check for the update by going to Settings ->About Phone -> Software Update.
The Lenovo P2 has a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080p) AMOLED Display with 401ppi as pixel density. It is armed with a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It comes in 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 128 GB expandable memory via a micro SD card in India.
The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is backed by a huge non-removable 5,100 mAh Li-Ion battery which claims to offer 3 days of battery backup. Lenovo P2 works with a 24W Rapid Charger that gives up to 10 hrs of battery life in 15 minutes. The device has a 13-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on its front panel. It also has a fingerprint sensor.
