Motorola has rolled out the latest Android Nougat update for its Moto X-Force smartphone, as per a report of PhoneArena. However, the update has just been rolled out in the United States for now but we expect it to soon be available for other regions as well. Motorola Moto X Force was launched in India way back in the year 2016 with Android Lollipop (later updated to Marshmallow) in 32 GB and 64 GB versions.
Android Nougat brings in a bunch of new features including split-screen multitasking, more customisable quick settings, improved Google keyboard, enhanced notifications, and recent applications window. Further, the latest Android OS version also brings in ‘Double Tap’ on the Recent button to switch between the two most recent apps which comes in very handy at times. For extended battery life, Android Nougat comes with ‘Doze on the go’ which will get activated even if your Nougat running device is in your pocket.
The Motorola Moto X Force has a 5.4-inch display that has Quad HD or 2560×1440 pixels resolution. This display, as per the company, is crack proof. As per Motorola, it has made this display using ShatterShield technology in which it makes the display with rigid aluminium core on top of which lies AMOLED flexible display to absorb shocks.
It runs on a 2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 Processor coupled with 3 GB RAM and 2 TB expandable storage capacity. It comes in 32 GB and 64 GB storage options.
Besides, the Motorola Moto X Force has a 21-megapixelar rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection auto focus and dual LED flash light. For selfies, it has a 5 Megapixel front camera. The smartphone offers 4G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, WiFi and a 3760 mAh battery. This 169 grams weighing smartphone is 7.6mm and comes in black colour and has a water repelling coating.
