Seems like Motorola is getting ready for the launch a new Moto smartphone soon in the United States. As per the reports, a new device with model number XT1723 has got the all necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US. A per report, it is expected that the spotted XT1723 smartphone may be the Moto E4 which is a successor to Moto E3 which comes with model number XT1706.
Apart from 16GB of internal storage, the FCC document reveals that the smartphone would be having 4000mAh of battery. Sadly no major specifications are revealed in the listing. The diagram of the FCC listing shows the label on the back of the device.
Earlier also, another device with model number XT1750 received FCC certification which revealed that smartphone would be having 8GB of internal storage.
Recently, two Moto smartphones with model numbers XT1750 & XT1754 received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). As per reports, out of the two devices, one could be the upcoming Motorola X 2017 or Moto C smartphone. As per the Wi-Fi certification, the Moto XT1750 will be powered by octa-core Mediatek 6580 chipset while Moto XT1754 is powered by quad core Mediatek 6737 chipset. The listing shows both of these smartphones running on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
Earlier, some more Moto smartphones with model numbers XT1670/XT1671/XT1675/XT1676 with codename ‘Cedric’ were leaked by Roland Quandt who revealed that new Motorola smartphones will come in two variants – 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. The smartphones are said to come in single and dual sim options and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. They will be backed up by 2800 mAh removable battery. The devices are also expected to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC.
